Improv Therapy is designed to explore personal and professional issues through improvisational comedy, action methods, and group process. This evidenced-based workshop uses humor, creativity and connection as powerful healing tools.

This series of experiential and training workshops utilizes action methods  (sociometry, psychodrama, role play and group psychotherapy), to explore various issues that are of concern to participants. These workshops are held on Sundays and are open to all who are interested in action methods and psychodrama. CE credits given to social workers and others.

TIME IN - MINDFULNESS WORKSHOPS WITH JACQUI SIROKA & JAYE MOYER

IntegralTherapy continues its “Time In” program with the following offerings:        
Loving Kindness, Loving Kindness-Extended and Tonglen.These practices help us soften and open the heart. In these groups we integrate mindfulness practice, meditation and action exploration. 


JUNE 3rd - Tonglen

This is a practice of "sending and taking" which involves a combination of breathing and visualization. It is a practice of opening our heart to our own pain and to the pain of others. This meditation guides us in invoking loving presence in the face of difficulty.

This training program consists of five weekend workshops covering a variety of topics: including history, theory, role play, sociometric and psychodramatic techniques, mindfulness, and the practice and application of Sociometry, Psychodrama, and Group Psychotherapy.

Nan’s 2018 4-day Summer Psychodrama Residential Weekend will be held July 19th-22nd

The Topic of this personal growth and training weekend is: Examining our Roles in Life

We will look at retiring dysfunctional roles and developing new, productive roles (role theory). 
The rustic setting provides an ideal place to learn and experience.

INTENSIVE PSYCHODRAMA WEEKEND WORKSHOP with JACOB GERSHONI, LCSW, SW, CPE
AUGUST 17th – 19th 2018

FROM INSIDE OUT: DEVELOPING INNER CONFIDENCE AND CONNECTIONS TO OTHERS 

In this workshop we will explore development of positive identity and confidence. Psychodrama and role play techniques will be utilized to trace this journey from an early age, and in dealing with obstacles toward a healthy self-esteem and deeper connections to others. In a safe and affirming setting we will look into various roadblocks and ways to overcome them.

13.5 hours of psychodrama training credits and CEU’s will be granted. A list of reasonably priced accommodations in Manhattan is available upon request.
