In this workshop we will learn skills to respond and attend to our internal narratives as well as the difficult emotions that often arise in the inter-personal world. The practices of "pausing", "active investigation" and "compassionate presence" will be taught and demonstrated.

SUNDAY WORKSHOPS
This series of experiential & training workshops utilizes action methods (sociometry, psychodrama, role play and group psychotherapy), to explore various issues that are of concern to participants. This is a 4 day experiential and training weekend. This workshop will give participants sociometric and psychodramatic tools to help their clients explore their self-judgment and self-criticism.
Where: Boughton Place, Highland, NY near New Paltz, NY. One and a half hours north of NYC
Cost: $610 if paid before June 18th 2019; $635 if paid after June 18t

In this workshop we will explore development of positive identity and confidence. Psychodrama and role play techniques will be utilized to trace this journey from an early age, and in dealing with obstacles toward a healthy self-esteem and deeper connections to others. In a safe and affirming setting we will look into various roadblocks and ways to overcome them.

Training for Social Workers, Licensed Creative Arts Therapists and Mental Health Practitioners.

Presence allows us to be more effective in the moment as we encounter difficult emotions and experiences. Skillful at holding a therapeutic space and making appropriate interventions. Buddhist psychology offers us a different view and focus on working with difficult emotions and experiences. This training is designed for therapists or mental health practitioners who are interested in integrating mindful awareness, meditation, and compassion practices within their therapeutic work. It is also open for anyone who wants to explore relational mindfulness! This will be a highly experiential program. We will draw upon our personal experience. We will utilize group and dyad interaction as well as action exploration, (including role play, role reversal and empty chair). Mindful awareness training will be integrated throughout the training.
